ABOUT THIS PROJECT

One tournament. Eleven pages. Zero static charts.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 was the biggest World Cup ever played: 48 teams, 104 matches, three host nations and 39 days of football, ending with Spain’s 1–0 extra-time win over Argentina in the final. We turned all of it into a single interactive Power BI report.

Every group table, every knockout tie, every squad list and every one of the 1,200+ registered players lives inside eleven connected pages. Select a team and its entire tournament unfolds possession timelines, playing identity, top performers, match-by-match journey. Select a player and you get the full picture: shooting efficiency, big-game record, share of the team’s goals.

Why build a World Cup dashboard nobody asked for? Because it proves, in the most demanding way possible, exactly what we do for clients every week: clean data modelling, advanced DAX, app-like navigation and a disciplined design system. The subject is football. The craft is business intelligence.

Questions, answered

Is the dashboard really interactive?

Yes. The demo embedded above is the live Power BI report. Every filter, drill-through and comparison works exactly as it would inside your organisation’s Power BI environment.

What data does the dashboard use?

Publicly available FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament data match results, squads, and team and player statistics modelled and calculated by our team in Power BI.

Can I get a copy of this dashboard?

This one is a showcase project, but if you’d like a version for your club, league, media outlet or fantasy community or the same treatment for your business data contact us and we’ll scope it with you.

How long does a custom dashboard like this take?

It depends on data sources and scope, but most business dashboards go from kickoff to a first working version within a few weeks. We’ll give you a clear estimate after a short discovery call.

Do you build sports analytics dashboards for clubs and leagues?

Yes. The same architecture fixtures, squads, performance metrics, head-to-head analysis applies directly to club, academy, league and broadcast analytics.

Can this connect to my company’s live data?

Absolutely. We build dashboards on SQL, Excel, Dynamics 365, Google Analytics, cloud warehouses and most modern data sources, with scheduled or real-time refresh.

Is this an official FIFA product?

No. This is an independent, fan-made analytics project by Squillion Tech and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA.
